I bought a brand new 2004 CRF250X and was the proud owner/rider for many years. I eventually sold my 250X to a friend for his high-school age son.

I live in Salida, a small mountain town in central Colorado, and the nearest Honda shop is 100 miles away. I bought a substantial number of spare parts for maintenance and wear replacement, and I also rebuilt the top end twice. After I sold my 250X, I was left with a large stock of parts, most new and some used. The parts are for sale and are listed in the tables below. Happy shopping.

4. After PayPal confirmation, I will usually ship the same or next day, according to PO hours.

I ship in USPS flat rate boxes costing $7.90 anywhere in the US. For parts that fit in a small padded envelope, and the shipping price is under $7.90, I will ship that way instead. If a parts order will not fit in the small USPS flat rate box, I will use larger flat rate boxes, or other large boxes as needed, and tell you the cost. If you are not in the US, contact me to see if we can agree on a shipping method and price.

I cannot provide parts warranties, but if there is obvious shipping damage, I'll deal with the USPS directly. New parts are in Honda sealed bags.

2004 CRF250X new parts

Most parts are 2004 CRF250X, plus 2004 250R, 2007 250X, and 2008 250X. I used these non-04X parts where the alternate part was better, or I wanted a different version of the part; e.g. 250X front sprocket is 14T, 250R is 13T. I wanted the 250R 13T sprocket. Look for the blue highlights on the non-04X categories below.

If you already know the Honda part number of the part you're looking for, look it up in the table below, which is sorted by part number, and find out which category the part is in; e.g. Cylinder Head or Transmission, etc. Then look up the particulars in the category shown above that matches the one you found in this table.

2004 CRF250X used parts

Some notes:

The CRF250X 04-07 mufflers have the same part number: 18310-KSC-010

The 04-07 arrester assemblies have the same part number: 18355-KSC-A10

BUT, the parts fiche shown on Honda dealers web pages shows the parts that Honda sells NOW. When the bikes were released each year, the parts were often different. That is the case for the arrester assemblies. The 04-06 part numbers were 18355-KSC-000. The arrester assembly was changed in 07 (18355-KSC-A10) and again in 08.

Note that you cannot buy the diffuser as a separate part from a Honda dealer.

Also note that the arrester assemblies are very expensive - partsfish.com shows them at $244.

The used mufflers that I have are 04-07 versions. They have spark arresters, but no diffusers. I describe how to make a diffuser on my web page, and I have additional information to add to that description.

BTW, Honda calls them arresters on the parts lists; others call them arresters and/or arrestors. My spelling correctors / correcters flag both as incorrect. WHA????
