Angry Chihuahua (Leadville, Fairplay, Breckenridge)   submitted by GSL Ride high passes from Leadville to Breckenridge and return on dirt roads and some highway. All day ride; about 200 miles. Some highway but mostly dirt roads (some quite rocky); must be street legal. Aspen to Crested Butte v2   submitted by ramz (no PM, email only) Ride from Aspen to Crested Butte on dirt roads and single-track trail. No time estimate. Source unknown. Some highway but mostly dirt roads (some quite rocky) and single-track trail; must be street legal. The single-track trails are not the most difficult in the area, but they are intermediate level. Although this route does not connect to the BV area, I am providing it for those that would like to incorporate all or part of it into their own ride. Taylor Park Reservoir   submitted by ramz (no PM, email only) Scenic ride to Taylor Park Reservoir on dirt roads and a few trails. Lunch at the Marina. 6-7 hours. Some highway, dirt roads, ATV trails, and single-track trails; must be street legal. The highway and dirt roads are easy; routes over Tincup and Hancock are rocky and fun on midsize bikes (650 or less); Poplar Gulch Tr is intermediate-to-expert on a trail bike (not fun on a DS bigger than 450). Recommended bike: nothing bigger than 450 unless you know you're good to ride trails on your moto.
